Jon Paul Rion
Jon Paul Rion is in the Best Lawyers in America under the field of criminal law. He has tried in excess of one hundred (100) felony jury trials, including capital cases. He is president of Rion, Rion & Rion, L.P.A., Inc., a three-generation criminal defense law firm founded in 1938 by his grandfather.
He is a Board of Director of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is a lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Rion is Board Certified in the field of criminal law and is also a Fellow of the American Board of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Rion has tried cases in twenty-seven (27) states, and his firm of seven lawyers, based in Dayton, Ohio, enjoys a national reputation.
John H. Rion
John H. Rion is a member of a three-generation law firm in Dayton, Ohio. He is board certified in the field of criminal law, and he has been continuously listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 1983. He is the former president of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
He has served for two terms as chairman of the Criminal Justice Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Rion has tried more than 300 felony jury trials, including capital cases. He frequently lectures at seminars for lawyers on the subject of constitutional law. Mr. Rion is a Fellow in, and on the Board of Governors of, the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. Mr. Rion has practiced in twenty-eight (28) states.
